Home-made muesli

This term we have been learning about carbs, sugars and properties of food week. This week we learnt how to make home-made muesli. It’s so simple!

All you need is:

Method is:

  1. Heat 3 table spoons of oi in a pot, add your sweetener and bring it to the boil. Turn it off and mix in 3 cups of oats and all of the other ingredients except for the dried fruit.
  2. Heat the oven to 150c and spread the mixture out on a baking tray with baking paper. Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown or ‘dextrinised.’
  3. Let it cool down and then put in an airtight container. Enjoy with yoghurt or milk and fresh fruit on top.
